A special Pearl Jam episode of the Antiquiet Podcast from Seattle, following an incredible two-part run of home shows. From Chris Cornell deep-cut covers to a stadium lit up in tribute to Tom Petty, from Kim Thayil shredding to an onstage collaboration with Mudhoney, the experience was incredible, unforgettable, cathartic – everything a Pearl Jam show should be.
The concerts were held in an effort to raise money to aid the homelessness crisis in the city, with a goal of raising $1 million. The final total? $11.5 million- more than 10x the original goal. The PJ fanbase rallied hard and dug deep for one of the most important causes of our time, at a moment when the city is seemingly bursting at the seams with homeless people.
My 53rd PJ experience, firsthand story from 3rd row on Stone’s side, with highlights and audio from the show.
