Nick Oliveri will not be serving any jail time for 2011 incident with the LAPD S.W.A.T. team. The on again/off again Kyuss bassist (who sat down with us earlier this year for a lengthy chat) was looking at 15 years after an argument with his girlfriend got slightly out of hand.
According to TMZ, Oliveri agreed to plead guilty to one count of cocaine possession in order for the other six felony charges to be dropped. The deal gives the former Queens of the Stone Age member 3 years of felony probation, 52 weeks of anger management and 200 hours of community service.
Oliveri is currently out on the road with his band Mondo Generator. To check out upcoming dates or to simply keep up with the madness you can check out their official Facebook page by clicking here.
