The Rolling Stones Kick Off 50th Anniversary Tour at London’s O2 Arena

The Rolling Stones officially kicked off their 50th Anniversary “tour” last night at London’s 02 Arena, playing a lengthy show for the 20,000 in attendance.

Those who managed to cough up the money for tickets ($95-$750) got to see the band run through a pretty fantastic greatest hits set, including Gimme Shelter (with Mary J. Blige), Honky Tonk Women (with original bassist Bill Wyman joining in) and another 20 or so tracks.

The Stones have one more show at London’s O2 Arena on the 29th before heading to Brooklyn’s new Barclays Center on December 8th. They’ll end the year with a pair of shows at the Newark Prudential Center on December 13th & 15th.
