Listen To Pulp’s Holiday Gift To Fans ‘After You’

Pulp, Music

For the past two years a resurrected Pulp has toured the world. With the reunion winding down the Sheffield based band have given their fans the gift of a new recording.

As Consequence of Sound points out, the band gave fans a Christmas card after a recent homecoming show. The card gave fans a code where they could download the song After You. Originally a demo recorded during the We Love Life era, the version down below was recently recorded with the help of former LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy.

Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker has not been shy about the bands plans beyond 2012. He recently shared with Q Magazine that “We haven’t got anything planned after the New Year… we’ll just be cruising off into the sunset. Seems poetic. Not wishing to make a big deal, but we’ve played for a while and it’s been really good, but you can’t keep doing that forever.”
