Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe has been acquitted of all charges (including manslaughter) in the 2010 death of a fan during a concert in the Czech Republic.
According to Yahoo, presiding judge Tomas Kubec made the following comments in the ruling:
“We did not find criminal responsibility in the actions of the defendant. We found moral responsibility. There has been the death of a young man who had not been guilty of anything. We reached the conclusion that there was a serious fault on the side of the promoter and organizer of the concert.”
“I have been found not guilty & acquitted of all charges against me. I am a free man. This photo was taken by my friend@aceyslade- it says it all. Please remember the family of Daniel Nosek in your thoughts & prayers in this difficult time. I only wish for them peace. Thank you for your support- Randy”
While Blythe will not serve any additional jail time, the victims family could still earn some form of compensation from him.
With the case now out of the way, we can only assume we will see plenty of Lamb Of God tour dates in the not so distant future.
