Listen to Josh Homme & Mark Lanegan’s Theme Song For Anthony Bourdain: ‘Parts Unknown’

Josh Homme, Mark Lanegan, Music

Homme BourdainIt’s not always that musicians get to make cool appearances in TV shows outside of the late night talk show realm. When Queens of the Stone Age first appeared on the hilarious Christmas special for Anthony Bourdain’s TV show No Reservations a few years ago, it was just the beginning of a pretty fruitful relationship. Mr. Bourdain went on to record an episode based around the Californian desert where Josh Homme’s Rancho de La Luna studio is situated, and Homme provided a brand new instrumental track for it. Today, with the premiere of Bourdain’s new show Parts Unknown on CNN, yet another collaboration with the QOTSA mastermind has popped up.

As announced earlier this week, the theme song for Parts Unknown would come from none other than Josh Homme and Mark Lanegan. The show’s first episode is available over at CNN, and you can listen to the new track by skipping to the 00:50-mark.
