Back in 2011, Perry Farrell’s Lollapalooza festival took a brave step into South American territory with a Chilean edition of the event. A year later, the festival successfully expanded over to Brazil, and had another fine edition earlier this year. Now, months away from its 2014 iteration, set to take place in São Paulo on April 5-6, Lollapalooza Brazil just announced its lineup, and it’s pretty damn solid.
Continuing the trend of borrowing a few artists from the North American edition of the festival – then adding a truckload of new ones -, next year’s Lollapalooza Brazil is set to include four main headliners: Arcade Fire, Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden and Muse, besides other acts such as Pixies, Imagine Dragons, Phoenix, and more. Last week, the lineups for Lollapalooza Chile and the brand-new Lollapalooza Argentina were also announced. Notably. Muse aren’t set to headline, and were instead replaced by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Check out both lineups below:
