Creepoid has had a productive year as one of Philadelphia’s finest new sludgegaze purveyors. Fresh off of a successful SXSW and the March 4th release of their self-titled album, the band is set to release a 4-song EP of entirely new music for Record Store Day.
The 12″ EP is titled Wet, it has a super creepy cover, and it’s limited to 500 copies for Record Store Day locations. The one-sided EP will be issued on a mystery color with artwork etched into side B.
You can stream Wet Bread below, one of the songs from the EP being released on Graveface Records. Good luck scoring one at your local vinyl shop on April 19th.
We introduced you to Creepoid with a review of Sunday, their first single from the new album. If you missed out on that, visit No Idea Records and get fuzzy on a full album stream. Half heavy, half breezy, Creepoid’s sound has evolved nicely without veering too far away from 2011’s widely-loved Horse Heaven.
