ÆGES are one of the more exciting hard rock bands kicking around the local Los Angeles scene these days, and on September 23rd the group is set to drop their second full length record, Above & Down Below. The follow up to 2012’s blistering The Bridge, the band has started to make a name for themselves via headline appearances in local clubs as well as opening for the likes of Pelican and Coheed and Cambria.
Earlier today, the band debuted the first track from Above & Down Below via Metal Sucks. The song is called Fault, and it takes an already beefy guitar assault that the band is known for and jacked it full of steroids. While the riffs are bold and up in your face, the true secrets to the ÆGES sound is how sweet and melodic they make such massive wave of distortion sound. Give Fault a listen down below.
