Her solo debut Acid Tongue landed in the top 5 of our 2008 best-of list, and if you ask me, it was better than any album by her more beloved act Rilo Kiley. This week, via Stereogum comes a stream of The Voyager’s title track:
There’s a lot to Jenny’s vibe that is going to keep it out of the teacups of most readers here, but we believe in balanced meals and broader horizons, and sometimes the situation calls for some pretty pop/country/folk. Albums like Acid Tongue and The Raconteurs’ Consolers Of The Lonely are going to be there for you when those times come around.
