Jack White’s been understandably focused on his solo output recently, but Third Man Records just released a teaser for an upcoming new Dead Weather song, “Buzzkill(er)”. The 7-inch single will be part of the label’s latest iteration of their Vault subscription, along with a new White Stripes live album, and a Third Man Records flag for some reason. In case you haven’t been following, the Dead Weather have been releasing a string of new singles this year through Vault packages, with “Rough Detective” and “Open Up (That’s Enough)” coming previously. The 30 second clip isn’t much to go on, but it is undeniably a Dead Weather song.
The White Stripes live album, meanwhile, will be a record of two live shows from the year 2000, in the midst of the bands first overseas tour. It should be an interesting document of the band pre-White Blood Cells, and will be called Live Under The Lights of The Rising Sun. You can check out the contents below.
