What’s up with Atlanta? There’s so much good shit coming out of there. Well, it’s probably been there for awhile, but there’s no ignoring it anymore. Joining ’68 and other Chariot / Norma Jean spinoffs is another exciting new discovery, O’Brother. They first formed back in 2006, but Red Bull put up this stream of their third LP Endless Light, due out Friday, and it’s killer. It was produced by Andy Hull (Manchester Orchestra, Bad Books, The Dear Hunter) and Brad Fisher, and draws from a rich palette of metal, artsy goth vibes, and crushing post-rock.
