How ’bout a little shovel murder and catfighting between the ladies to kick off your week? Los Angeles rockers Yard Of Blondes return today with a dangerous new video for the single Monomoria, directed By Jeremy Jettho Thomas, and Antiquiet’s got the exclusive premiere for your viewing pleasure.
The track is off YOB’s new EP, Murderology, out via High Desert Lo-Fi Records. The theme of Murderology is love and death – something the accompanying video tackles admirably. The EP is essentially a collection of songs inspired by murder ballads of the 19th century, recorded with Julian David at Firewater Studios (Korn, Slipknot, Unkle) with the full support of its owner, Billy Graziadei of Biohazard.
The clip stars YOB vocalist and guitarist Vincent Walter Jacob and vocalist/pianist/organist Fanny Hill as ill-fated lovers, sought after by a murderously jealous ex. Check it out, exclusively on Antiquiet:
