The opening day of the second annual Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco was, in a word, chill. The 40,000-strong crowd took in performances from Pearl Jam, Incubus, Silversun Pickups and Q-Tip, as well as an army of indie rockers and hip-hoppers that set an upbeat tone for the day.
