Nine Inch Nails nucleus & Oscar winner Trent Reznor was just interviewed by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio One, discussing his upcoming The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo soundtrack (listen to his cover of Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song with Karen O). But the interview got really interesting when Zane pushed Trent to reveal some details about his other project, with wife Mariqueen Maandig and Atticus Ross: How To Destroy Angels.
As The NIN Hotline reports, Trent confirmed that HTDA are currently mixing their first full-length record, and it will, as expected, come out in 2012. However, he also revealed that the band has been receiving offers to perform live. That being said, they are considering the possibility of playing concerts, and trying to figure out “what makes the most sense” in that context.
Last but not least, Mr. Reznor was asked about his main and longest-running project, Nine Inch Nails. He replied that he’ll soon, at last, begin work on new material for the band, adding that it will be his specific writing focus throughout 2012.
