Courtney Love recently went on another one of her crazy Twitter tirades, this time accusing ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl of hitting on her and Kurt’s daughter Frances Bean, and having a weird sexual obsession with Kurt himself:
“I hear from frannies roommate that @davegrohl hit on frances, and that she was curious, I’m not mad at her, him I am about to shoot, dead”
After engaging a follower who had heard it was just a “flirtation,” the nutbag admitted it was just gossip she heard from a driver, yet doubled down on her attack on Grohl: “it could be a riumnour the actual sex, and it’s not beans fault she’s not slutty in any way, at all, HES OBSESSED… dave tried to fuck me alot and i always thought he had that romney rape thing about him he fucked all my pals.” [sic]
By the way, @davegrohl is just some poor German dude named Dave Grohl. Not “The” Dave Grohl.
“The” Dave Grohl rolled his eyes and denied the accusations via a publicist, stating, “these new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue.”
We watched all of this unfold, barely caring… But now the cake has been iced, via Frances Bean Cobain herself. We’ve just received a statement from her that reads, in its entirety:
“While I’m generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I’m in a monogamous relationship and very happy.
Twitter should ban my mother.”
It’s as hilarious as it is sad, and we can’t help but be ashamed for Courtney, for her sub-parental decision to gossip on Twitter before simply asking her daughter what the deal was.
