News of Spoon’s next album have been gradually leaking out over the past year. They started working on it last March, released a teaser video a few months ago, it was completed in March of this year, and the band signed to major label Loma Vista this week; but now it seems like we finally have a date. Sort of.
The image above was recently plastered on their social media profiles without explanation. Is this the record release date? Song release? Is the band suddenly breaking up? We’re not sure, but something’s happening. Probably. Anyways, in the meantime you can check out the aforementioned promising but short teaser video for the new record below.
