Though Nine Inch Nails spent most of 2014 touring, Trent Reznor and his frequent collaborator Atticus Ross have kept themselves extra busy this year, composing the score for David Fincher’s upcoming film Gone Girl. This will be the duo’s third OST in a row for Fincher, having previously worked on The Social Network and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
With Gone Girl set to come out in two weeks, it’s only appropriate that the soundtrack would see the light of day soon enough. By heading to NIN’s official site, one is presented with a promotional splash page for the film, and a brand new Reznor & Ross track playing in the background. More details on when and how to pre-order the OST should be announced soon enough. The double album showed up on a product listing over at NIN’s official site. It is set for release on September 30th, and the tracklisting is as follows:
