Big Business sure are big and busy these days. Within a month they’re going to be headed out on the Mastodon/Clutch tour that’s happening all across North America. But even before that happens, they’re going to be headed out on a two-week tour of their own that takes them through the American midwest and the northeast. And before even that happens, the group announced on their official Facebook page that this Friday they plan to release two new songs on their Bandcamp page. Titled Blacker Holes and Diagnostic Front, the two songs make up a “digital single” that will be the first new music from the trio since their most recent album Battlefields Forever was released in 2013. One song is a re-recording of an older tune that was released as a part of a series, the other debuted live only recently.
In related news, the group also acquired the rights to their older work from old label Hydra Head records. Head For the Shallow, Here Come the Waterworks, and Mind the Drift are streaming on the group’s Bandcamp now, and they say that they’ll be streaming over iTunes and Spotify within a week. Great news for any of you modern digital types who aren’t willing to invest in a band without hearing the music first. The band’s announced dates are below, so go see them.
