It’s the holiday season folks, and you know what that means! Spring and summer festival dates and tour news are finally starting to trickle in to keep you warm at last while you try to avoid your family. Good tidings for all. In that spirit, The Melvins today announced a joint US tour this coming March, April, and May with none other than UK grindcore superstars Napalm Death and Japan’s own Melt-Banana. Playing bass for the Melvins will be Red Kross bassist Steven McDonald, the latest in the group’s endless parade of rhythm section players.

Titled the Savage Imperial Death March Tour, the bands will be playing all over the US and Canada next year. The Melvins will also be putting out a 10-inch called War Pussy before the trek, no release date has been released to the public at this time. Tour dates are below, it’s a huge trip so there’s almost no chance it isn’t coming somewhere near you (unless you live in Alberta and can’t leave, in which case, sorry).
