No one messes with Texas quite like us. We’ve got one hell of a party lined up for SXSW this year, which will go off Friday the 18th at the North Door on 5th & Brushy St.
Headlining is a very special band we couldn’t be more excited to host, Atlanta’s ’68, who have managed to squeeze at least this one SXSW date into their busy touring schedule. Their debut album blew us away in 2014, and their live show… Well, that’s just something we had to bring you a piece of after Johnny caught them at Aftershock. And after winning a grueling war against mediocrity, the rest of the bill is the best damn lineup we possibly could have hoped for, featuring Night Beats, Creepoid, Plague Vendor, Sharkmuffin, Smoke Season, and Pom Poms We’ll be adding one more to replace the band that dropped off when they saw our flyer art, prepared once again by our favorite deranged and possibly broken genius, Sean Tejaratchi. It’s a free show with RSVP, unofficial as always. You don’t need a wristband to fuck with us. Just good taste.
Once again, we’ll be recording and filming all of the sets with the help of the Swing House crew, to be released as Antiquiet Sessions over the year to come. Big thanks to them, Chelsea Schwartz & High Voltage, The North Door, and Aaron Berkowitz & Do512 for helping us put this big lil’ rager all together.
