We dig the new Smashing Pumpkins record, we had a great time talking with Billy Corgan about it, but how about some free Smashing Pumpkins reissue greatness? On July 17, EMI will deliver a massive, ultra-deluxe version of the Pumpkins’ fantastic Pisces Iscariot album. The original itself was a platinum-selling compilation in 1994, collecting various B-sides and outtakes from the band, and this reissue will satiate the die-hard Pumpkins fan with a world of extra goods from the era.
There will be a standard reissue, but the deluxe will feature the original album along with unreleased studio and live songs, the band’s first-ever demo (reproduced on cassette), postcards, watercolors, photos, track-by-track annotations by Billy Corgan and more. Check out what’s in store:
