With a night free last night and an itch to flex my concert photography game, I ventured out to the most interesting random show I could find, and stumbled upon now-LA-based Australian import The Black Ryder, who we had only heard of previously through their collaborations with members of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Hayden Scott. The band was formed by Aimee Nash and Scott Von Ryper after their departure from The Morning After Girls.
We don’t normally post on the first date, but we’re thinking more than a few of you will dig these brooding sexy shoegazers. Here’s Grass from their first album, Buy The Ticket, Take The Ride:
