You may have heard, but back in January, blink-182‘s Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker announced that they had parted ways with founder/guitarist Tom DeLonge. With that announcement was the reveal that Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba would be filling in for DeLonge at the Musink Music and Tattoo Festival, which blink-182 had already signed a contract to play. Leading up to the festival, blink scheduled a few warmup shows to get their feet wet with Skiba on guitar duties. Check out a few clips from their first show, at The Roxy in LA, below.

In other news, Tom DeLonge has announced that he will be releasing four albums this year, the first of which is a compilation of what are believed to be demos he had planned for blink. To The Stars… Demos, Odds, and Ends is set for a April 21st release. We have already received the single New World, which can be streamed right here. If you want to, you can also pre-order To The Stars on iTunes or pay for a vinyl of demos here.
