Six albums into a DIY-lover’s dream on their own Infinity Cat label, Nashville duo Jake and Jamin Orrall – better known as JEFF The Brotherhood – have stepped up to the majors for their latest record, Hypnotic Nights, with soaring results. Recruiting Black Keys’ mastermind Dan Auerbach to work the knobs, their efforts produced a glorious barrage of distortion, power-punch drums and psychedelic punk insanity with a melodic flourish.
Hypnotic Nights arrived in July to glowing reviews, and the drums-and-guitar duo are currently in the midst of a nationwide Fall tour with Delta Spirit. When the brothers Orrall rolled through Los Angeles on their current tour in support of their new album, they stopped in at Swing House for an exclusive Antiquiet Session, where they mixed a couple of older favorites with a dose of the new album. Check out the performance below.
