We’ve been following Rhymesayers artist Grieves since 2011, and with each move he’s continued to deliver on the promise we first saw. He finally dropped his follow-up, Winter & The Wolves last week, shortly after we had the honor of having him headline our SXSW showcase at Rusty’s.
We recorded and filmed that entire set, along with the other bands’, with the intent all along to put together a sort of a mega-set compilation for Antiquiet Sessions. But cherry-picking felt silly given how strong and how fun Grieves’ live set has gotten over the years. There was too much energy captured, and as we went through it all, our smirks were just too proud. So here’s what Antiquiet Session #12 is. First, the highlights as per the usual format.
